2014年5月19日，创意总监路易在清华大学美术学院参加了中国环境设计学年奖十周年设计论坛。期间，路易做了题为《人、自然与经济繁荣的平衡：新的成功之道》的精彩演讲，受到各位专家及现场师生的热烈欢迎。演讲从基本理念、收益及关键要素出发，对混合使用社区规划和设计进行了新的尝试：先考虑自然、环境和人类，然后安置建筑和基础设施。新方法强调有形与无形的平衡，人与自然的和谐。并以案例分析的形式对村庄模式、田园城市模式、新城市模式、大型商场/写字楼/住宅模式、度假村模式、城市村落模式进行了研究和评述。

Lewis, Creative Director, participated in the design session for the Tenth Anniversary of China Environmental Design Annual Award at Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University, on May 19, 2014. He delivered a speech named Balance between Man, Nature and the Prosperity: a New Approach for Success, which was warmly welcomed by experts, teachers and students. His lecture began with basic concepts, benefits and fundamental components and presented a different approach to the planning and design of mixed-use communities: the process considered nature, the natural environment and mankind first, and then placed the architecture and infrastructure. The new approach emphasized harmony between nature and man and the balance of tangible and intangible values. Meanwhile Lewis made model studies and comments on village model, garden city model, new urbanism model, mega mall/office/residential model, resort model and urban village model.
